Easter Weekend recap

This weekend was GORGEOUS in DC and chris and I took full advantage.  Friday night i went out with that group of girls and i realized several things.  1.  i stressed waaaay too much about my outfit.  2.  everyone up here is REALLY smart.  3.  im SO glad i'm not in the dating scene anymore - i dont think i could handle it.  and 4.  i think my friends up here are going to be overwhelmingly older.  most of the girls there were married and were in their mid-30s.  i got along much better with them than i would a bunch of single girls who only talk about the dating scene up here.

i ran into eric motley - legendary samford grad - at the restaurant friday night and it really did confirm that though DC is a big city - it really is a small scene.  if that wasnt enough, on sunday we went to church with molly hammond and her husband.  there we ran into will weir and kristen straw, and on top of that Chris knew the associate pastor of the church - they went to beeson together for a year.  IT WAS CRAZY.  and wonderful.  we are still going to try out a couple of different churches that have been on our list but im pretty positive we are going to end up back there.  it's called the church of the advent.

so today is chris's birthday and im feeling totally lame because i dont have anything for him.  ideas of fun surprises for my handsome fella?!!!
