ok kiddos
so on monday i had 7 yes SEVEN interviews in a row at johns hopkins university for the sr. associate director of alumni and development position in the school of education.  i know thats a mouthful.  i think it went really well but still waiting to hear.

there are pluses and minuses to taking this job so if the offer comes for another interview i'm going to have some serious thoughts to weigh.

i feel super guilty for decieving my current job to interview for this one but i felt i at least had to go for it.  we'll see how it turns out.

pluses:  feels very much like cumberland, better title, better salary, would allow me to expand my skills in development, i would really respect and learn from my supervisor

negatives:  going to be HARD.  alumni base has bad feelings toward the institution so i would need to make sure i'm not setting myself up for failure.  hour commute.  not sure i love development? but recognize it's the future of alumni relations.

so yeah.  another possible hard decision.  we'll see what the Lord has in store!



oh the flip side - tomorrow is mine and Chris's 4-year wedding anniversary!!! CRAZY!!! he has some surprises in store for friday night so i'll keep you updated.
