I am tired.

Ever since the boys birthday and my family coming in town last week, I've been beat. Haven't felt like doing anything. I feel like I need a break from hosting and cleaning. So, in hopes that it will ease the pain of having to do about 10 loads of laundry- I haven't done any in about 3 weeks, no underwear left for any of us- I started watching downton abbey season 2. Mmmmmm... That show is so magically soothing.

Even though I haven't really felt like doing anything- I have gotten a chance to hang out with other moms in the neighborhood this week and it feels so great! I love that it's spring and it feels great outside. So Rhodes and I played in the brooks' yard yesterday. And today Tammy Harper and I had coffee on our porch. I got to play with her 3 month old and it got me so excited for November! And maybe even early next year for another Chancey?

For Lauren, who was not at the party- it was wonderful! People just ate and drank on blankets in the back yard with lights hanging everywhere. Rhodes was tired and slept through some of it. And there was a melt down when we sang happy birthday. But people really loved hanging out all night! We still had people here at 11. And I may have gotten asked to cater some parties later this year! It was a success.
